The program of the Boy Scouts of America could not function without the countless hours of unselfish service given by its volunteer adult leaders. These leaders bring the Scouting program to thousands of youth in Portage County and beyond every year. Therefore it is fitting that we recognize those leaders in the Seneca District who have given much of themselves at the district and unit levels to ensure a quality Scouting program reaches our youth. Nominations for these awards will be due by March 15th. Nominations may be submitted by any registered Scouter. A nomination form is provided and need only be a narrative explaining why the person should be recognized as the outstanding Scouter in his or her position in the Seneca District.
Then join us in recognizing these outstanding scouters at the Seneca District Recognition dinner April 18, 2009 at the United Church of Christ, Kent.
